Mag n’Glow
By: Timothy Kwon, Sean Sananikone, Javier Cervantes, and Dylan Jones
In December, Ms. McMillan’s 6th grade class and Mrs. Garcia’s 5th grade class entered a competition called Exploravision. Exploravision is a completion where you choose a problem and figure out solutions to fix it. Everyone was excited. After we turned all our projects into Exploravision, in the middle of January the people looked at the projects. Then on February 29th Exploravision emailed Ms.McMillan that one of our groups got the honorable mention award. And the group was Mag n’Glow. Now we are going to ask them to give a description of how they got Mag n’Glow and about Mag n’ Glow.
Spencer and Thomas, the inventors of Mag n’ Glow; started off by finding about how humans emitted a tiny bit of light, then they researched about that topic. Then they discovered it was a chemical reaction in the human body. Then they decided if they could genetically modify a person, they could increase the amount of those chemicals in certain areas, making those areas glow. Then they got the name “Mag n’ Glow” (Magnified and Glow). This is Mag n’ Glow.
