                                            Deep Sea Anglerfish

For my proposal I will be presenting a fish called Anglerfish. Anglerfish are members of the teleost order Lophiiforms. They are bony fishes named for their characteriestic mode of predation, where in a fleshy growth from the fishes head act as a lure. Some Anglerfish live in the open water while others bottom-dwelling. Some live in the deep sea and others on the continental shelf and the monkfish/goosefish. Pelagic forms are most laterally comepressed where as the benthic forms.
